Emerging conditions are detected while they are still weak signals. Orbital conjunctions, thermal anomalies, uncorrelated tracks, environmental change — the earliest observable form of a problem is the cheapest one to act on.
Detection alone is noise. Our systems establish what a signal means against a baseline: whether behavior is routine or anomalous, whether an object is doing what its orbit suggests, whether conditions are trending toward consequence.
Understanding becomes useful when it projects forward. We model what follows — the encounter, the spread, the exposure — and price it honestly, including the uncertainty around it.
The purpose of all of it is time. Time for an operator to weigh options, commit, and still have room to reverse. A system that reports the truth too late has not helped.
